Timeless Black & White Images...
since the early days of Tyla Images back in 2007.
It's not that I dislike B&W, just that I love bright colourful images & the dramatic spotlit shots that I'm known for.
However I've recently been asked by a couple of clients to produce some B&W images during the designing of their albums.
Now I love a challenge & am really enjoying the selecting & editing process of these albums. I cant just select at random, the images have to fit in context of the album design & compliment the layout to produce a seamless & timeless addition to their albums.
Colour popping is a 'pet hate' of mine but my client asked for it on a detail image (see below) & I happily popped away. in fact I think subtle popping on detail images is fine & looks beautiful but when you start doing it to people??? the images look tacky & faddy & I doubt clients would appreciate you giving them albums that would date in the future?
Storytelling, Subtlety & simplicity
Works for me as an Ethos
